got to thinking---(pls no laffing). been trying to find an e-mail address for a woman who blogs & call hersef polish gal. all i got so far was i could buy polish lotsa places by the gal. usually for my car, my floor or??

but she sez she has an int. in NE where i was once born & grew up, my wife too, but igot to thinking (tru story---about the thinking.) we have made many tripsto the biltmore hse--had season tix ther, but quit going. since the owners(nephew,) & his fam have decided to mine it.


but what about the NE stuff yr saying. well growing up ther & over numerous vists---never did get to visit his (george vanderbilt) other place in newport---the Breakers. been by it plenty times, etc. but been IN the biltmore hs many times, usually nomore than to see the wunnerful Saregent paintings, or maybe feed the geese dow back in the lagoon. picture if yoou insist.

nobody seems to read my writing so i guess i can put in anything. my latest puzzlement has to do w/ a col. other day by froma haroop, who was commenting on how so many young gals were having babies outa wedlock. i can understand some of the ones we see, seriously overwt. a blck guy in company. apparently many blk guys like fat ones, but still. with the economy in the tank, its understandable how a ring was just out of the question.

then we're hearing from people like sarah palins dotter, who said, they used protection sometimes. bt she's quoted as saying abstinence dont work. oh, really?

blundered on to a site for Maxim on-line, featuring pictures of well-known but beautiful young women, including Ann Hesche, Winona Ryder, et al. all these publicity shots should be held up as examples of how modern beauty shop techniques and maybe some photo shop techniques, can put before us some spectacularly beautiful gals. the presentation included some commentary on each woman, none complimentary. Evidently the drift was that although beauty is out there, so is crazy. Hold the presses. Some news, this just in.

(my prediction---Winona Ryder will marry some very, very rich older guy when she reaches maybe late 50's.) it's a genetic thing.

apparently there is no shortage of truly beautiful women often dumb as post. the future of the Planet is on the line because their counterparts are out there, grown men skateboarding with filthy dreadlocks, hackeysacking.

this device is from the War in Europe and of course everyone recognizes what it is. so the game is to name it using the German word. it has a date of 1941.


also the bluebirds all hatched so far as we know & soon I will post a pitcha of myself. isn't that worth waiting for?

something to add to the rcd. On the 14th or the 15th, I opened the bluebird box----5 beautiful slightly shiny blue eggs. About then, we've had a visit or two by bears, maybe the same one. plainly, these poor animals are starving. also we are being visited regularly by a small raccoon. we can follow the local instructions and not provide food for the bear, but not the raccoon.

the bluebirds have naturally been v. busy. Five mouths to feed---so I have put out on a regular sched. some of the worms I've had now in the fridge for several wks. I have seen one or the other parent go directly from the worm tray into the box, so i'm reassured they are being helped.

the food situation for wild animals is not good. we are currently in a rather severe drought, spring plants were burned by a serious late frost.

today=May 15th. yesterday our youngest chile's birfday (Oprah talk). This a.m. went into the box (house) to check, & the bluebirds have five beautiful eggs. I'm hoping they all make it thru but if they do, it will get crowded in there. the parents must like the location, etc,
